All I’ve ever wanted to do is to write on walls. – Well GOOD! 6: – It’s cool. – Well it could have gone worse. But where were the 100 poster sticking guys who liked us on Facebook?)

Läksyt // Homework

(For the rest of the evening I surfed through Comics Class’ current student’s blogs. 1: Marko, Pirita, Pirjo, Minna… I wonder if I can learn these in time..? 3: Oh how TALENTED! Your sensei-to-be is so proud of you! – The excellence oozes through my screen! 4: Seriously, I’m not gonna demand these guys to think me as some ’sensei’. I’m more of a tutor, I guess. 6: Besides… It would be a bit twisted if the sensei’s pupils were more talented than her!)

* Vapaa Seinä // Free Wall

Kirjoitettu 1.11.2010 - Karva. Kategoriassa Luokittelematon.

(Free Wall at Tampere city center on Friday the 5th of Novermber from 12:00-20:00 1: This is actually a school project but I’ll advertise it here as well. Terrible cold. 2: The point is to take back the city space so people could use it as public forum. The current situation is this: no stickers, no flyers, no posters, no nothing unless you pay for the advertising space first. 3: There’s alot better desription and a schedule on Facebook’s event calender. 4: You’ll find around twenty guys like this walking around the city center. 4: The ’walls’ won’t get destroyed. In the evening we gather them all in Keskustori(?) and every single bullet board is photographed and the pictures will be published in the Internet. It would awesome if the walls could stay on display somewhere. We’ll see how it goes. 5: If you guys have blog or comic ad stickers or something you should come and stick them on us. This is your chance!)

Niille, jotka eivät syystä tai toisesta Facebookissa käy // For those who don’t use Facebook:

”Kuka omistaa kaupunkitilan?
Me omistamme kaupunkitilan 5.11.2010.
27 opiskelijaa kulkee Tampereen keskusta-alueella ilmoitustauluksi pukeutuneena.
Tule kirjoittamaan viestisi, liimaamaan tarrasi, niittaamaan julisteesi tai jättämään kädenjälkesi.
Olemme Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulun taideopiskelijoita.
Me kaipaamme jotain pysyvämpää!
Lämpimästi tervetuloa kaikki! Puskaradio pyörimään; kutsukaa kaverit ja kaverien kaverit.
Paikat joissa olemme perjantaina 5.11 ilmoitetaan lähiaikoina.

”Who owns the space in our city?
We will own it on 5.11.2010 when 27 students will be walking around Tampere centre wearing bullet boards.
Come and write your message, glue you stickers, tag your posters or just to leave you own print.
We are the first year students off TTVO (TAMK arts) and we want to emphasise a question: Where is the street forum, which lives and develops in an interactive relationship with us, the citizens?
Until now, only temporary plywood of construction sites have granted free space for street artists, poets and event planners, and in time all these walls were torn down. We want something long lasting!
We are offering you a chance to make this point heard, so you are warmly welcome. Not just you, but also your friends and their friends, so spread the word!
The places you can spot us in Tampere at 5.11, will be listed shortly”
